NH Collection Amistad Córdoba

The location is the superb. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom is big. The bed is huge. The AC works perfectly.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was okay but not the best I've had at hotels, though the waitresses were very helpful and you can have your eggs freshly made. Our room was upgraded and room service brought us some free goodies, which we appreciated. The hotel is bang in the centre of Cordoba old town but cut off into a corner, which means it's away from the noise and offers a quiet experience, which is what we wanted after a day of exploring the city. All the main attractions are 5-10 minutes walking distance.

The NH Collection was really well located for the old town of Cordoba and provided us with a really great base to explore the area. We were met by really friendly staff on arrival who made us feel really welcome. Our room was really well equipped and had comfortable beds and good facilities. The bathroom was clean and well lit, with a good shower. Breakfasts during our stay were fabulous and the staff (especially Eve-Maria) were exceptional in the dining rooms, they really could not have done more. The pool area was clean and well maintained, although the pool was not big it was a really welcome facility in the heat of the Andalucian sun! We were unfortunate to be the victims of a purse theft during our time in Cordoba, however the staff at the hotel were more than helpful and exceptionally kind and helpful - I can't thank them enough for that.

Perfect for Cordoba. Just park and forget the car. Arriving by car to the hotel is a little difficult - the street is REALLY narrow to access - remaining about 10cm on each side of the car mirrors!!! But once you reach the plaza in front of the hotel, the underground parking (accessible by ramp) is good, and they offer to park for you. The hotel is very comfortable. It has a good room and an excellent modern bathroom. It is very near the Mesquita-Cathedral and all main attractions of the city. I did not try the restaurant except for a drink.

We requested a high level, quiet room, away from the lifts and was given this as requested. The bathroom was very nice, with lots of marble. All toiletries were provided. There was a huge Roman wall right outside our little balcony (about 3 metres away), which was a fabulous and unexpected surprise. (see photos) The bed was a huge king size and very comfortable. There was a selection of pillow options. There was a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast selection was fantastic. There were plenty of gluten free options available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you decline the daily room cleaning service you receive a voucher for 2 free drinks at the hotel. The location was right in the middle of the small alleyways and a very short walk to the Roman Bridge and Mezquita and Alcazar. There are lots dining options available with 5 or 10 mins short walk.
